This is the second oil painting that I did in Jesus Estevez’s class. I never thought that I would enjoy doing a Still Life but I did. I have always complained about the difficulty I was having in satisfactorily blending when I use acrylics. Oils allow me to do so as you can see in this still life. Of course I can’t take complete credit because it is a copy of a painting by Jos van Riswick. I have never copied anyone’s work but I must say it’s a real learning experience.
