A few weeks ago I started an oil painting class with Jesus Estevez and this little piece was the result of my first efforts. I have done quite a bit of acrylic painting but have always been disappointed when it comes to the blending . I can already see the advantage of using oils and I love the vibrant and not so pasty effect. The original painting was done by D.P.
My next project will be a still life, then a portrait and the last one will be the figure. I am really anxious to then paint from my own reference material. But until then, I still have a lot to learn !
